She has previously worked for global Ann Arbor-based company Llamasoft, and most recently served as Finance and Accounting Project Manager for a firm providing accounting services to nonprofit, public, and private organizations. “I’m looking forward to working more deeply on the community and philanthropic aspects of the Federation’s mission, in addition to all its various programs. I love learning new things and have already really enjoyed getting to know the Jewish community and all the ways it operates in Ann Arbor.”
Teri joined the Jewish Federation’s professional team as Chief Financial Officer Robert Deschaine retired at the end of 2025. The Jewish Federation wishes Rob the very best as he moves into the next chapter of his life, after serving as Controller and then CFO at the Federation for six years. His contributions in the areas of financial accountability and sustainable systems have set the organization up for success.
Jewish Federation CEO Eileen Freed recognizes the legacy Rob leaves behind, noting “Rob has left big shoes to fill, and we will miss him immensely. At the same time, we’re thrilled that Teri brings her own exceptional track record and fresh ideas to carry forward our work in the community.”
Outside of work, Teri enjoys gardening, animals, and cooking. She particularly takes pleasure in long walks in nature, even at night during the winter. Teri can be reached at teri@jewishannarbor.org.
