Robert Deschaine, Accounting Manager
Robert has over twenty-five years of accounting experience working with both for-profit and nonprofit organizations, including eight years as Director of Finance at the Chippewa Nature Center, in Midland, MI. There, he was instrumental in updating financial procedures and technology and bringing a collaborative approach to budgeting and other financial operations. Robert moved to Ann Arbor with his wife Laurie of thirty years.
Isaac Ellis, Operations and Community Partnerships Manager
Contact Isaac by Email or call 734-773-3535.
Isaac has enjoyed working on the administrative side of things ever since he was tricked into it while an apprentice at Performance Network Theater. Since then, he has used his double majors in Theater and Spanish, his thirst for knowledge, and the life lessons acquired while growing up on a farm to learn just enough about everything to be dangerous. When not doing what he can to help improve the community at large, you’ll probably find him baking something delicious in his kitchen, singing with the community a cappella choir 4 Good Measure, or onstage with the local theater troupe The Brass Tacks Ensemble.
Stephanie Glass, Development & Planning Associate
Prior to joining the Federation, Stephanie worked in program development and evaluation. She holds a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the great state of Michigan, especially in the winter, and spending time with her dog, Marcel.
Sharyn J. Gallatin, Chief Development Officer
Sharyn has over twenty years of fundraising experience for various organizations, including Federations in Detroit, New York and New Jersey, Jewish Family Service of Metropolitan Detroit, and National Council of Jewish Women, Michigan. In her capacity as a lay leader, Sharyn has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for these organizations and is a skilled solicitor. She is also an alumna of Jewish Federation of North America’s National Young Leadership Cabinet, a six-year leadership program for those recognized by their federations as future leaders. Sharyn is also a licensed attorney and had her own law practice for sixteen years. Sharyn’s greatest achievements are her children, Joshua and Rose. She resides in Commerce Township with her children and is a member of Adat Shalom Synagogue in Farmington Hills.
