Sarajevo Hagaddah Presentation with Rochelle Burr

Come and experience the splendor and history of the Sarajevo Haggadah with a
taste of the golden Sephardim experience in the Spanish and Andalusian
kingdoms of the medieval period. Learn about the most famous Jewish
manuscript surviving the Spanish expulsion of the 14th century, Italian
Inquisition of the 17th century, WW1, WW2, and the Balkan Wars of the 1990s.
Our history is alive and has lots of stories to tell! Rochelle Burr has a BA
in Art History with a concentration in Religious Visual Culture from UCSC.
She completed study abroad research with UCLA tracing migration patterns out
of the Spanish peninsula during the inquisition era.
