The Jewish Federation of Greater Ann Arbor is thrilled to welcome Kadi Swerdlow to its professional team as Office Manager. Kadi will be taking over for James Griffin when he moves out of state in late September.
Kadi joins the Federation team after 10 years of administrative experience at University of Michigan working with the Unit for Lab Animal Medicine, among other departments. Kadi grew up in Eaton Rapids, MI but has been in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area for over 15 years. One of her passions has always been community service and improving the lives of those around her, so moving from the university to non-profit work was an easy switch. She and her husband, Ben, recently bought a home in Howell that they share with their cats (Goopie and Jonas), dog (Charlie), and a large (but not so alive!) garden. She enjoys cooking, growing a variety of plants, and playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends and family.
The Federation extends deep gratitude to James Griffin for his work at Federation and service to the community. His calm, friendly demeanor was apparent in every phone call he answered, and his knack for organization was a significant asset to the team behind the scenes.
While we are sorry to say goodbye to James, the community is lucky to be welcoming Kadi to this role. Kadi says she looks forward to bringing enthusiasm, hard work, and lots of cat pictures to the Federation team!
Please join us in welcoming her!
