Rabbi Leonid Bimbat and Cantor Dmitry Karpenko of the Moscow Center for Progressive Judaism – Congregation Le-Dor va-Dor will take us on a journey of the rebirth of the Jewish community in the Former Soviet Union in 1990 and how their congregation was founded, grew and became a thriving center of Jewish life. Rabbi Bimbat is a fascinating speaker and Cantor Karpenko is not just a wonderful singer but also an accomplished composer of lovely soulful prayer melodies.
