Ann Arbor Candidate Forum

Join community members for an evening of civic engagement as the Jewish Community Relations Committee hosts a public forum featuring candidates for Ann Arbor Mayor and City Council Wards 3 and 4.

The event will offer moderated discussions, candidate perspectives, and opportunities for attendees to submit questions.

Mayoral Forum – 7:00 PM to 8:15 PM

Moderated by Beth Bashert, this session features Yousef Rabhi (Candidate, Democratic Socialist) and Mayor Christopher Taylor (Incumbent, Democrat). Candidates will discuss their visions for Ann Arbor’s future, followed by audience‑submitted questions.

City Council Forum – 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM

Moderated by Decky Alexander, this session includes candidates from Wards 3 and 4:

  • Ryan Bartholomew (Democratic Socialist, Ward 3)
  • Ashley Hall (Democrat, Ward 3)
  • Kenneth Leicht (Independent, Ward 3)
  • Aidan Sova (Democrat, Ward 4)
  • James Trost (Independent, Ward 4)
  • Dave Zeglen (Democratic Socialist, Ward 4)

Attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions during both sessions.
