Meet L’Dor V’Dor Circle Donors Jayson & Laurie Greenberg

The Jewish community of Greater Ann Arbor holds a special place in our hearts. It’s where we planted our roots and raised our family. Laurie grew up in the Detroit area and appreciated how openly being Jewish was accepted and shared with others. In Ann Arbor, the Jewish community is smaller, but in many ways, it feels even stronger and more active. We hope the next generation will come to value the love and deep appreciation we have for the Jewish culture and roots we were born into.

We were inspired to leave a legacy gift to the Hebrew Day School of Ann Arbor because we are deeply grateful for the opportunity HDS gave our family- to build a strong foundation in Jewish education in a way that was fun, meaningful, and impactful. Through this experience, we also met many of our lifelong friends in the Jewish Ann Arbor community, for which we are forever thankful. We want our children to know that even when we are gone, we have chosen to leave a legacy to an institution that brought profound meaning and connection to our family’s life.
