High Schooler Traveling to Israel
The Jewish Federation administers two programs providing financial assistance to high school students traveling to Israel on summer, semester or gap year (between high school and university) programs. Funds are not available for college-age students participating in post-gap year experiences. Programs eligible for funding must be at least four weeks in length and be organized by an approved provider such as MASA gap year programs and summer and semester programs sponsored by national youth movements. Other eligible programs include those sponsored by educational institutions and those programs listed on the Jewish Agency's Israel Experiences web site. Payment is made directly to the program in which the participant is enrolled.
