Chai MitzvahMake Connections

Chai Mitzvah is a program to enhance Jewish engagement. Much like a book group, Chai Mitzvah network groups meet monthly throughout the community. Chai Mitzvah’s main goals include building community, engaging in discussion with central themes, and exploring projects in the areas of social action, ritual and learning.

Groups may be formed in a variety of ways and the possibilities are endless…synagogues and Jewish community organizations may host groups; friendship groups can take on the Chai Mitzvah model; and/or Federation staff can help identify like-minded individuals to come together around central interests, professions, geographic proximity, age or stage of life.
