We will explore the different leadership factions in the West Bank and Gaza\, with a particular focus on the rise of Hamas. This conversation aims to serve as an introductory overview for those seeking clarity on the region’s history and its current situation. This session will be in-person and on zoom. \nIn the weeks following the discussion\, we will facilitate a series of small group conversations to provide safe spaces where diverse viewpoints can be openly shared and discussed within our congregation. DESCRIPTION:Elementary Shabbat: A short service\, song session\, and community building! \nDinner: $5\, registration requested. \nFamily Camp: Family Camp is part of our monthly Elementary Shabbats\, although younger and older siblings are totally welcome\, too! Each time we will have a different theme\, largely focused on Jewish holidays\, and we will play team-building games and have competitions all based around that theme. \nIt provides an opportunity for families to play and learn together\, for students to reinforce and share some of what they are learning in the classroom\, and most importantly\, to strengthen ties among students and parents/caretakers.
