SUMMARY:FED NEXTGen A2 Kabbalat Shabbat
DESCRIPTION:Come join us at 7pm on Friday\, May 3rd for Kabbalat Shabbat (the Friday night service welcoming Shabbat with lots of singing and (hopefully) familiar melodies)\, dinner\, and drinks!! We can schmooze for a bit as people arrive\, and then Kabbalat Shabbat will probably last 30 min followed by dinner and drinks. Anyone is welcome! We would love for this to be a group-driven Kabbalat Shabbat so we would love for anyone to lead your favorite tune\, or bring a Kabbalat Shabbat-related song you’re hoping we sing! We’ll have print-outs with English transliteration. \nWe’ll have a few camping chairs and blankets if you would rather not sit on the ground\, but feel free to bring your own too. Looking forward to seeing everyone there! \nLOCATION\nOne of our NextGen board members is hosting in her home so it’ll be home-y and cozy and we can sit outside if the weather is nice . Make sure to RSVP to get the address! \nACCESSIBILITY\nPlease note that there is a step up to get to the front door. The house has a sunken living room with a step down to access the living room. Memory may be the most powerful tool we have to rebuild our world\, and for 20 years\, TBE Generations After has taken up the responsibility to honor and remember the victims and survivors of the Holocaust.
